West Somerset Railway Association Steam Rally

We were back for a third year at the West Somerset Railway Association Rally, Norton Fitzwarren and what an event it was.

Tinkerbell No. 3 provided the motive power for passenger services over the weekend event which was well attended despite the occasional torrential shower and spectacular lightning show on the Sunday. There was a double date with royalty for Tinkerbell - with 71000 Duke Of Gloucester providing the backdrop to our running line this year, and 6024 King Edward thundering past with the Torbay Express on the Sunday.

The weekend started in fine style as we boarded the Severn Coast Express on the Friday evening for a late non-stop service to Minehead behind GWR 3850, returning stuffed full of fish and chips.
